World Peace: It Begins With You and Me

Sunday, September 30, 2018, 2:00 pm, Memorial Hall (Rotunda), State Capitol Building: 

Louisiana World Peace Day opening ceremony.  The ceremony will include an Interfaith Candle Lighting Ceremony, Student Performers and Presentations, and features Student Artists for Peace.   

 October 1 through October 31, 2018, 8 AM - 4 PM - Memorial Hall (Rotunda), State Capitol Building:

Student Artists for Peace, an exhibit of Louisiana student art and literary works describing world peace and what it means to them. 

Louisiana Students! You are invited to take part in World Peace Day activities by submitting an entry describing World Peace and what it means to you.  Submit your drawings, poems, songs, pictures, or videos. If chosen, your entry may be displayed at the State Capitol Building during the month of October. For more information click on the Student Information 2018
